Cement Production Process
The nation’s highest cement plant
Cement production at Shahrekord Cement Industries is carried out using modern technologies under strict control of the central laboratory. The process consists of continuous stages, starting from raw material extraction to packaging and delivery of the final product.
Extraction and Preparation of Raw Materials
Raw materials, including limestone, clay, ironstone, and mineral additives, are extracted from the nearby quarry and, after initial crushing, transferred to the raw materials section.
Preparation and Homogenization of Raw Materials
After sampling and chemical analysis, raw materials are ground into a uniform powder in the raw mill and stored in dedicated silos, ensuring precise chemical composition control.
Kiln Firing and Clinker Production
The homogenized raw materials enter a rotary kiln and are fired at around 1450 °C. Chemical reactions form nodules called clinker, the primary component of cement.
Clinker Grinding and Cement Production
The cooled clinker is mixed with a measured amount of gypsum and ground in cement mills to produce the final cement.
Packaging and Product Delivery
After final quality control, cement is packed in standard bags or shipped in bulk, ready for distribution to customers nationwide.
Shahrekord Cement’s production process fully adheres to environmental standards and uses advanced control systems to ensure a consistent, high-quality product meeting national and international standards.
